Synopsis: "Unicorn Pride" is a short documentary about the only high school in the nation where they call themselves the Unicorns. Fanatical faculty, proud parents and tradition-conscious students ensure that Friday nights are not just about football. Mystical Creature or not: Unicorn Pride is justified. “Only Unicorn in the Nation…. We are kind of
proud of that. Other people think it’s weird, but it’s not.
It really isn’t. They think it’s a wimpy little mascot but
really they just don’t know much if they think that.” I’m always trying to be one up on the other mascot. I try to buff up, act all tough and stuff.” -Jeremy Bartles, Eugene- The Unicorn Mascot “Some kids who get really into it; some barely brush
it, but everyone slaps the rump of Bufford, the mascot which is a big
statue of the Unicorn.” |
